The Story of O-Town Tavern
In August, 2013, O-Town Tavern was opened by brothers, Patrick and Jeff Kalpin. They remodeled it, adding on bathrooms, walk-in cooler and freezer and established a delicious menu. On Sept. 30,2019, they sold it to K and D Darrington who decided to sell in 2020.
Laurie Kalpin-Garcia (Jeff and Patrick’s sister), Tony Garcia and Julie Backes had worked at O-Town as servers/bartenders/cook for a few years, put their heads together and decided to purchase it together, along with Julie’s husband, Paul. On 6/28/2021, the Garcia’s and Backes’ purchased O-Town Tavern.
